 Domaine
de la Libaudié is a wooded estate of some 35 acres; we have an ancient
and authentic farmhouse with several charming outbuildings. Our location
is on the hillside of valley of the river Tarn, located between the
departments of Tarn and l'Aveyron in the south of France. The remarkable
farm, built from slate dates from 1839 and still breathes the good-natured atmosphere of forgotten times. Domaine de la Libaudié offers many
possibilities to spend your holidays.
 Inside the farmhouse
there are 5 comfortable rooms,
3 of them with their own shower and toilet. Around the farm are
opportunities to camp and find beautiful quiet spots to
set up your tent or caravan,
or you can rent our luxurious caravan. Via a steep forest path
and a 15 min. walk you can reach our cozy corner at the river Tarn to fish or to swim.
(This spot at the Tarn and path to it are not suitable for little children).
The climate in this part of France
is very pleasant; not so hot as in the Provence but very sunny and mild because of its southern location. Click

 Domaine
de la Libaudié is for people who value tranquility and perhaps during a nice French meal, want to exchange stories with the
other guests.
You will not find organized amusement; gambling halls, mini golf courses
or fairs.
In fact everything ends at la Libaudié; the road ends here. You will
find no train or
air traffic and no portable carrier signal! Only the nightingale disturbs
tranquility!
Here you will enjoy the dogfights of the many falcons and hawks that
live here; you will breathe the silence and enjoy, with a glass of good
wine, the starry sky above you as you have never seen before, or you may
choose to
make new friends in our cosy meeting place with fireside and bar, during
one of the community meals.

 Dinner
At
Domaine de la Libaudié you can have dinner together with the host and
hostess. Table d'Hôtes
as they call it in France. It is not a restaurant where you can
choose from the menu! Before noon you can let us know if you want to join
or not.
The hostess then prepares a mostly original French meal (entrée, main course,
dessert and coffee, wine included). The price is €18,- or €20,-
per person. You then have dinner together with us and
the other guests in the cosy bar with fireplace and
bar or outside. Marjo will cook every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
and Sunday evening. The other days we can book a table for you at one of
the many restaurants in the vicinity. |

 Rest
At la Libaudié you can take a rest and recover from your
busy lifestyle. Everywhere on the estate we have created many cosy seats.
Swing in a hammock and enjoy a book, sun bathing at the pool,
enjoying a drink on the terrace, paddling in the river. The domain is all yours. . . .
Arrangements
On request we can assemble special arrangements for small-scale
events, courses, seminars, etc.
For example painting lessons, sculpture classes,
card clubs, biking or canoe clubs, golf arrangements, para sailing,
rafting, retreats, etc.
We can offer full
board stays for groups up to 15 personnes. More is possible with
overnight stay on the camp site. It is also possible to make
one of the barns available for workshops like painting or modeling
classes. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities. We speak English.
