at la
Libaudié
Besides the many sights here in
the proximity such as the caves of Roquefort,
the cities Albi and Rodez,
the many picturesque villages, the viaduct of Millau,
etc, etc, you might ask yourself, what can we do on the property itself?
Apart from the opportunities here on our domain to really relax,
we have prepared a number of various activities for you. So, do not worry
that you might get bored here.
Walks
 Around our property we have set out
about twenty trails, variing from 2 to 20 km's. The small paths lead you through the forest surrounding la
Libaudié. We put plastified IGN maps 1:12.500 and route descriptions at
your disposal. One of the tours is a photo walk; You'll find your way by

TomTom cartrips
In the nearby vicinity we have set out a surprise
rally. The only thing you
 get
from us are the geographical
coordinates of your first destination. You enter them into your TomTom
and off you go. In fact, you don't know exactly where you are going.
Once arrived at your first destination, you start looking for a little
hidden nametag displaying the coordinates of your next target. An
exiting way to discover the surroundings. Besides that we have a number
of pre-programmed TomTom route files which you can load directly into

GPS walks
 We
have set out about 20 GPS walks with our GPS
navigator varying from 3 to 20 kms. For a small fee you can loan our GPS receiver in
order to follow one of these tracks. Also the mountain bikers can use it.

 Search the
treasure
Somewhere on the property we have hidden a "treasure", a so called geo cache.
Take our GPS receiver and go find it! Read
more about it.
Photo puzzle rallye
 Our 2 photo rallies lead you right through the heart
of the Vallée du Tarn
using small roads, passing little hammocks and valleys with magnificent
scenery. We took about twenty pictures and your
goal is to
find out at which location I took them! The nice thing
about it is that you regularly leave your car, and we send you to
places you never thought of going to.
Car or Motor trips
We assembled for you about 5
fantastic car or motor trips. We put at your disposal a road
descriptions and maps and guide you through the magnificent landscape of
the Tarn and Aveyron with stunning views, lost villages, curious
monuments and other curiosities. The trips vary from 40 to 160 kms,
under which visiting the Viaduct of Millau, the superb fortified village
Cordes sur Ciel, the Abbey of Sylvanès, the castle of Montaigut and much
much more. Underway we recommend in the route description several
curiosities like a glass works factory, a truffle museum, se3veral
monuments, etc, etc.
Libaudié canoe
 Down along the Tarn lies our canoe that you can use. You can go half an
hour upstream or downstream up to the dams. We also have set out a
Biathlon. First you take the canoe and go half an hour upstream. You
dock the canoe and then return to la Libaudié on foot through the
forest. Condition is that you find another team that does the same in
the opposite direction.
Night walk
 Walking in pitch darkness.
Absolute silence, a pitch dark
night, rustle of leaves, the sound of a tawny owl, red little eyes
following you . . .
Try our night walk for a change. On our own property
we have set out a trail marked with tiny little reflectors. Armed with a
pocket torch you'll find your way.
"Survival" walk
This year we made on our own property on a part we never visited before
ourselves a path through the "jungle". We call it "the trail
of no return" meaning slippery steep trails, climbing and clamber. In other
words not recommended for scary people.
Quest
Also entirely on our property we have set out a quest,
a sort of adventure game full of
mysteries, little jokes and puzzles for young and
older ones. Plunge in to this adventure and
discover the secret of the "Libaudian order".
For the very curious among you we already reveal a tiny
little bit of this quest.

Biking
Because of the fact that the landscape is hilly, our
countryside is a paradise for bikers and mountain bikers. For the
inexperienced recreational biker we have set out 2 magnificent tracks of about 30 km's
along the borders of the Tarn, so reasonably flat. In the village nearby
you can hire good bikes.
Painting
At la Libaudié you can discover your hidden
talents. For a small contribution we have
at your disposal acrylic paint, brushes, etc. We have a quantity of
schist roofing tiles here which appear to be excellent painting canvas. Click

Wine tasting
You love wine and would like to bring back some wine with
you from this region? That's possible. We cooperate with Sanbatan, a
local wine farmer from the famous Gaillac region. They produce a fine,
price winning collection of some excellent red wines, a superb dry white
wine, a rosé and a sweet white wine. From time to time we organize a
taste dinner where we try this excellent collection.
